Vehicle Restrictions and Parking
There will be traffic blockage on the Swaraj Round & its vicinity roadways usually during afternoons (starting at about 2.00 PM onwards) from the Pulikali day to the last day of the Pulikali festival.
Restrictions on vehicle usage.
There shall be no private cars/motor vehicles allowed in the Swaraj Round/Thekinkad Maidani surroundings area.
Roadside parking is banned throughout the whole city center. Fines/towing applicable for offenders.
Vehicles can only park within designated safe/open ground zones which are outside the main/primary event zone.
Bus Route Diversions
Shoranur/Medical College KSRTC buses have been passing through ITC Junction, East Fort, Ashwini Junction, and Kolothumpadam instead of taking Swaraj Round.
Mannuthy/Vadakke stand buses are now being routed from East Fort after pension mooḷa & Ashwini Junction to reach Vadakke stand; while coming back they will take Stadium Junction.
Ollur/Amballur buses are being diverted from Mundupalam Junction towards Sakthan Stand, then come back again via Kattookaran Junction.
Kodungallur/irinjalakuda/triprayar buses are being taken from Balya Junction towards the Sakthan Thampuran Stand
